The Peace River Regional District and Hospital District serve the Peace River region of British Columbia, south of the 58th parallel and east of the Rocky Mountains to the Alberta border. Its boundaries encompass approximately 12 million hectares (46,000 square miles). The population resides in seven incorporated municipalities and four rural electoral areas.

North Peace Fringe Area Official Community Plan
There will be a Public Hearing regarding the NPFA OCP held at 7 p.m., Tuesday, March 9, 2010 in the Charlie Lake Community Hall and at 7 p.m., Wednesday, March 10, 2010 in the Baldonnel Elementary School. Doors will be open at 6:30 p.m. each night.

Peace Valley Lookout Community Check-In!
The PRRD and Focus Engineering hosted a Community Check-In Event on Wednesday, February 17, 2010 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the North Peace Leisure Pool where a preliminary concept plan was presented to the public. To provide your feedback by March 3, 2010 please see our Parks & Recreation Special Projects Page and complete our survey.

 

Pouce Coupe Opens New Fire Hall
On Saturday, January 9, 2010 the Peace River Regional District (PRRD) Electoral Area ‘D’ Director, Wayne Hiebert, was pleased to present a cheque in the amount of $100,000 to the Village of Pouce Coupe, represented by Mayor Lyman Clark, to assist in the construction of the Village’s new fire hall.

Our Fort St. John Office has Moved!
The Regional District office in Fort St. John has relocated to 9505 100 Street. Look for the door labelled PRRD to the right of the North Peace Leisure Pool's main entrance.
